WEBAug 19, 2024 — Epson is better for gaming. No questions asked, I owned both for two years, simply because the motion is better. But JVC will have the better black floor for your cinema experience. Sony doesn't have anything that support 120Hz, so it's out. I don't really recommend a DLP based unit in the $10,000 and less category.

WEBDec 24, 2020 — I very, very liked the Optoma P2. But the colors you can get out of Samsung is a deal-breaker. Plus the sound. So, after 1 week of watching the Samsung I "don't see" speckles any more. Don't try to find them, just see the movie. Red colors are unreal at the ends of the spectrum, only when you try to set up a projector in Rec2020 color space.
