We are staying in the central canal district. Most of the directions from here to Het Scheepvaartmuseum seem to involve walking on very busy roads for all or part of the way. Is there better, pedestrian friendly way to get there?

I walked on busy roads, but there were good sidewalks. The views were also enjoyable. You shouldn’t have any problem.
Hi, does the museum have places to store bikes while we walk around the museum??

I never thought to look. it’s Holland and there are bike racks everywhere. I do remember bikes parked on the sidewalk just outside on the bridge about 25m away.
