Conditions will be mostly pleasant in Northeast Ohio before rain chances increase going into the weekend. Unfortunately, Canadian wildfire smoke will make skies hazy and impact air quality.

The warning, the result of a fire near Port Alberni, covers inland Vancouver Island, including Lake Cowichan and Port Alberni, and parts of Strathcona Park and Schoen Lake Provincial Park

Smoke from Canadian wildfires is engulfing much of the eastern and central United States and and is expected to continue for days.
