Andy Ibáñez signed to one-year major league contract
The Los Angeles Dodgers continue to look for an impact bat while Kyle Tucker, Cody Bellinger and Bo Bichette remain on the free agent market, and numerous other players are on the trade block.
Former Detroit Tigers' Andy Ibanez has agreed to terms on a one-year big league deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Ibáñez originally came to the Tigers on a waiver claim from the Rangers before the 2023 season and spent most of the last three years as the club’s primary right-handed platoon bat. Ibáñez is known for plus defense at second and third base and a knack for battering left-handed pitching.

For weeks, the Dodgers had been linked with big-name free agents like Kyle Tucker, Bo Bichette and Cody Bellinger.
