Jayson Tatum suffered the non-contact injury as he went for a loose ball with just over three minutes remaining in the Knicks’ 121-113 victory at Madison Square Garden.
There is not word as of yet exactly what the injury is, but based on the fact that it was non-contact, and Tatum was wheeled to the locker room holding the back of his ankle, there is a belief that it is something to do with his Achilles tendon. After the game, notable Celtics fan Bill Simmons reacted on his live podcast.
