One teen was killed and another was wounded after a shooting early Sunday morning in the Little Village neighborhood. The shooting happened just after 1:30 a.m. in the 2600 block of South Avers Avenue.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene. A 6-month-old boy who was in the back seat of the man's car suffered a graze wound to the right cheek. The boy was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition. Investigators say there were no other reported injuries.

Around 11 a.m., paramedics were called to the 2400 block of South Oakley Avenue for the shooting, fire spokesperson Larry Langford said.
