Rain, tropical-storm-force winds and even the potential for some tornadoes are possible for some portions of Florida with Tropical Storm Rafael.

Tropical Storm Rafael grew more organized overnight, setting up the Cayman Islands and western Cuba for a hurricane hit on Wednesday. As the storm enters the Gulf of Mexico, its outer bands could bring moderate winds and some rain to Florida, particularly the Keys, which remain under a tropical storm watch.

From there, the forecast takes Rafael past Jamaica, which remains under a tropical storm warning, and the Caymans, which remain under a hurricane warning, on Tuesday. The lower Florida Keys and Dry Tortugas are under a tropical storm watch.
