Google has finally rolled out its VPN service to the Pixel Tablet. If you’re on stable Android 15, you can now download it and enjoy an extra layer of security.

VPN by Google was suddenly made available to the Pixel Tablet sometime in November. While Google has yet to update its official support document, you can get it on your Pixel Tablet running stable Android 15 directly from the Play Store.

We were expecting VPN by Google support for the Pixel Tablet to arrive with a Drop next year, but it's quietly gone live already.

Google hasn't confirmed just yet, but VPN support may be extended with the next update. Here's everything we know so far.

When Google started rolling out the VPN, the app was briefly available for the Pixel Tablet via the Play Store. However, Google disabled the Tablet from signing in via a server-side update, and the Play listing then said the Pixel Tablet was an incompatible device.

When VPN by Google rolled out to older Pixel phones in June, the Pixel Tablet was excluded, though that might be changing.

With the upcoming Android 15 QPR2 release, the VPN by Google service will likely be available for the Pixel Tablet. VPN by Google is the replacement to Google One’s VPN service and is available exclusively for free on the Pixel 7 and later.
