The actor most famous for playing Ron Weasley will be required to pay millions back in taxes after using a loophole once employed by the Beatles.

Grint was ordered to pay the money in 2019 after the U.K. tax agency said he had wrongly classed 4.5 million pounds in residuals from the movies as a capital asset rather than income, which is subject to a much higher tax rate.

Rupert Grint, the star of "Harry Potter," has once again found himself in serious trouble. He has lost a court case and must pay nearly 2 million pounds to the British tax authorities. Certain irregularities were discovered in the 36-year-old actor's tax returns.
