Organizers plan to speak and march against President Donald Trump's administration's immigration policies. The demonstrations come as Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson warns that ICE is planning to increase their operations in the city.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson encouraged his city to protest the Trump administration’s immigration raids across the country. “I am counting on all of Chicago to resist in this moment,” said Johnson, who is a Democrat. “Whatever particular vulnerable group is being targeted today, another group will be next.”

According to the sources, the teams will be activated in Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, northern Virginia, including Washington, D.C., and New York.

A protest against Immigrations and Customs Enforcement in Los Angeles has fueled similar demonstrations across the U.S. in recent days, with protesters arrested in New York, Philadelphia and other cities as Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said he would deploy the National Guard to several locations in the state.
