Deputy Ignacio Diaz succumbed to his injuries following the Nov. 21 crash that killed two colleagues, authorities said

A Florida sheriff’s department is mourning the loss of three of its deputies following a vehicle crash last week.

The third deputy involved in a crash in Loxahatchee, which claimed the lives of two other deputies, died after fighting for his life.

Officials say Palm Beach County Deputy Ignacio “Dan” Diaz died Monday. The 51-year-old was struck early Thursday in the accident that killed Cpl. Luis Paez and Deputy Ralph “Butch" Waller.
