Lights switched on in London’s Piccadilly Circus to mark start of holy month for Muslims - Over 1,500 people attended the event to mark the start of the month of fasting

He said: “London’s sensational Ramadan Lights have returned to the West End. “For the next month, the fantastic display will light up this bustling part of our city as a celebration of the holy month of Ramadan and a symbol of our city’s diversity “

For the third year in a row, Ramadan Lights have been installed in central London as part of celebrations for Ramadan, which this year is set to begin in early March.
