The Valencia MotoGP is cancelled and several other events have been postponed following the devastating flash floods in Spain.

MotoGP plans to hold its new 2024 season finale at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya, on the same November 15-17 weekend as the cancelled Valencia round.

MotoGP bosses want to keep the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia as the final round of the 2024 season. FIM President, Jorge Viegas, said that the economic concerns in Valencia, which has been devastated by deadly floods, means that MotoGPs presence in two weeks remains important.

The season finale in grand prix motorcycling will not take place in Valencia due to the severe flash floods in the region which have caused wide-ranging destruction and left more than 200 people dead.

MotoGP is poised to replace the cancelled Valencia GP with a new race in Barcelona, Autosport understands. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is now set to stage the season finale on 17 November, having already hosted the sixth round of the championship back in May.
