Mega Millions jackpot reaches $514 million, with the next draw set for Friday, continuing a rare streak of surpassing half a billion dollars.

The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has climbed to an estimated $489 million, with a cash option of $229.3 million. The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia.
