The Carolina Panthers arrived in Munich, Germany, on Friday morning. They practiced at the headquarters of Bayern FC to prepare for their Week 10 matchup against the New York Giants, and The Observer was there to document it all.

The Panthers reached the midway-ish point of the season (the 17-game schedule makes the math trickier) with a 2-7 record, having matched last season’s win total with a come-from-behind, 23-22 victory over a bad New Orleans team last week at Bank of America Stadium.

Chuba Hubbard is in the midst of a career year with the Panthers. Carolina is rewarding him with a lucrative, four-year contract extension.
