Jamarques Lawrence joined Brown in double figures with 16 points, including 4-for-8 shooting from 3-point range. David Fuchs closed with a team-high 11 rebounds and chipped in seven points off the bench. Thomas recorded 15 points and matched his career high with 10 assists, good for his first double-double of the season.

Rhode Island took the lead with 19:31 left in the first half and did not give it up. Brown led his team in scoring with 10 points in the first half to help put them up 45-16 at the break. Rhode Island outscored CofC by nine points over the final half, while Lawrence led the way with a team-high eight second-half points.

College of Charleston suffered through one of its worst shooting performances in a 38-point loss to Rhode Island on Sunday.
