San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich is out indefinitely while recovering from an illness that forced him to miss Saturday's victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is not with the team in Los Angeles to face the Clippers. Popovich suffered a health issue before Saturday’s home game with the Minnesota Timberwolves and did not travel to California.

Assistant coach Mitch Johnson will serve as interim coach while Gregg Popovich deals with the undisclosed health issue that surfaced before Saturday's game.
