After weeks of dry weather and no rain, the busiest and most impactful week of weather in months is on the way during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Meteorologists are keeping a close eye on whether “wintry weather” arrives in Massachusetts around Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

However, the National Weather Service says that some of Western Massachusetts, particularly in the Berkshires, is expecting some snowfall this weekend, with the area of Florida, Massachusetts likely facing an inch or slightly more of snow and Pittsfield potentially facing a fifth of an inch of snow.
