The votes have been cast and tabulated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's class of 2025, and that's very good news for Cyndi Lauper, OutKast, The White Stripes, Chubby Checker, Bad Company, the late Joe Cocker and grunge-rock pioneers Soundgarden,

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced its class of inductees for 2025. Inductees were announced during the April 27 episode of “American Idol,” with Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden and Chubby Checker among the seven acts who will be enshrined in the performer category.

After missing the cut in its first two nominations, Soundgarden is going into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as part of its 2025 class.
