Cleveland’s latest acquisition is left-hander John Means, who has been rumored to be coming to the Guardians for the last several days. The deal became official on Wednesday as Means signed a one-year contract worth $1 million with a club option worth $6 million plus a possible $1.5 million in incentives.

Musgrove’s 3.20 ERA is second lowest in team history behind Dave Dravecky (119 starts from 1982-87) among pitchers who have made at least 72 starts for the Padres.
