Volkswagen is recalling nearly 100,000 ID.4 electric crossover SUVs because the door could open unexpectedly while driving.

UNDATED (WKRC/CNN Newsource) - Volkswagen recalled nearly 100,000 of its SUVs because of a door issue. The German automobile manufacturer recalled 99,000 ID.4 electric crossover SUVs because the door handles could unexpectedly open. The recall was for model years 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Volkswagen has announced the recall of all ID.4 vehicles manufactured in the United States and Canada, totaling 119,408 units.
