A New Hampshire man has died after falling in icy terrain while hiking in the White Mountains. Christopher Huyler, 44, was found early Saturday morning at an elevation of 2,800 feet, after he failed to return from hiking on the Coppermine Trail area in Franconia.

Christopher Huyler’s body was found around 1 a.m. at approximately 2,800 feet in elevation, near a steep, icy slide in the Coppermine Brook valley, officials said.
