Big E offered to return to WWE RAW to help The New Day, but Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods turned on him instead. On the December 2 episode of WWE RAW, The New Day celebrated their tenth anniversary.

When WWE announced that they were holding a special celebration on RAW to showcase ten years of the New Day, Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and Big E, fans had a pretty good idea of what was going to happen.

In the segment, Woods and Kingston mentioned Big's new job as an analyst on WWE PLE kickoff events and his new girlfriend, Kris Yim. Kris reacted on social media.

Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston turned heel on former New Day stablemate Big E on "WWE Raw," on the 10th anniversary of them first teaming up.

During The New Day ten-year celebration on Raw, Big E made a surprise return, offering to manage Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods and help fix their problems until he’s medically cleared to return. In a shocking turn of events, however, both Woods & Kingston rejected the offer and accused Big E of choosing himself over the team.

"Woods' initial idea for The New Day was to reboot the Nation of Domination. The Nation was a faction of Black militants. And while it had a lot of cool moments, and those guys are all legends," Big E explained.

Woods and Kingston didn't respond well to the announcement, criticizing Big E for letting them fight for months before he came back. Kofi Kingston shrugged off E's neck injury, saying that Steve Austin, Edge, and Kurt Angle all came back from the same injury.
