AEW star Ricochet will officially face Zack Sabre Jr. at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty. New Japan Pro-Wrestling confirmed that Ricochet will be in action at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty. He will face IWGP World Heavyweight Championship Zack Sabre Jr.

Ricochet's surprise return was his first appearance in NJPW since 2017. Minutes before it all unfolded, Sabre had accepted another challenge from Shota Umino for the IWGP Championship. Umino, none too pleased about being outshined, re-emerged after Ricochet's challenge to chase him off.

On New Japan Pro-Wrestling presented NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed from the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts. Zack Sabre Jr., Konosuke Takeshita, and other stars competed at the show.

The Grizzled Young Veterans won the gold at NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed. At NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed, the Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson) challenged TMDK (Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste) for the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championship.

NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed streams tonight on NJPW World with an Openweight title match main, and AEW International title match co-main. In the main event, Gabe Kidd defends the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship against Kosei Fujita in a matchup of two young stars the promotion has high hopes for in the future.
