Luke Kuechly and Ryan Kalil of the Carolina Panthers are nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

Several former Carolina Panthers players are among the new Pro Football Hall of Fame nominees revealed Tuesday.  There are 16 total who played for the Panthers on the list, coming on the heels of former defensive end Julius Peppers being inducted in July.

Former Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly, a 2009 St. Xavier High School graduate, is a nominee for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's 2025 class.

Panthers, and a current assistant coach, were named amongst the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 167 preliminary nominees for the 2025 class.

The most prominent who wore the black and blue include linebacker Luke Kuechly, center Ryan Khalil and wide receiver Steve Smith.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has announced 167 candidates for 2025 class, including 16 first-time nominees. The committee will narrow list to 25 semifinalists before selecting 15 finalists for the 2025 class.

The full list includes 167 players up for consideration for induction into the Hall; 16 of those players are receiving their first nomination. Among the biggest names are Eli Manning, two-time Super Bowl champion with the New York Giants,
