A fight near the Medford courthouse left one person seriously injured from a stabbing. Police detained five suspects matching the descriptions of those involved.

A person suffered a serious stab wound outside the district courthouse in Medford on Monday, and several people were detained in connection with the violence, State Police said. The disturbance broke out around noon in front of the building, which houses Cambridge District Court, authorities said.
