Minnesota weather: Tornado watch in far western MN
Some scattered storms are expected Thursday evening in western Minnesota.
Severe storms could blast into western Minnesota on Wednesday night, with more severe weather possible in southern parts of the state again on Thursday and Friday. Not everyone will get storms, but dew points will rise into the mid-60s Wednesday night through the weekend, making it feel warm and muggy.
Leftover overnight rain shifts east early Thursday, bringing some early morning showers to the Twin Cities. Scattered showers and thunderstorms develop during the afternoon and evening. A few storms could produce hail, gusty winds and heavy downpours.
