NEW ORLEANS, La. (WAFB) - Louisiana music suffered a tremendous loss this week with the passing of jazz violinist Michael Ward. Family members announced Ward died on Monday, Dec. 15, at the age of 60.
Michael Ward, a longtime presence in New Orleans' music scene, has died at age 60. His wife announced he passed suddenly after he collapsed on Monday, our partners at NOLA.com reported.
