The fire broke out on Monday just before 9:15 p.m. off West Clark Street. The Quincy Fire Department says crews spent more than five hours putting out the flames.

Firefighters arrived on scene in the 800 block of West Clark Street just after 9:15 p.m. Monday and found a home in flames, a spokesperson with the fire department told WCTV Tuesday morning.

QUINCY — A residential fire brought four firefighting crews from two departments to east State Street in Quincy Monday evening. A fire at 2507 State Street was reported just after 6 p.m. Monday.
