Snow will continue across southern Wisconsin this afternoon. Expect a wintry scene all day long, with accumulations of 3-6" expected for most of the area—though pockets along the state line may push past 7 inches.

Southern Wisconsin cities like Milwaukee and Madison recorded their driest Januarys on record, with about 12 fewer inches of snow than normal.

There have been a few light snow showers across southern Wisconsin early this morning, most of them have been hugging along the state line. Watch out of an isolated slippery spot or two.
