Walt Disney World will operate both of its water parks simultaneously this summer, for the first time in years.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is modeled after a former tropical paradise that was destroyed by a typhoon. With a standout lineup of water attractions, a fan favorite is North America’s largest wave pool. Guests can enjoy the swimming area as the park’s icon, Mount Mayday, erupts every half hour with a 50-foot tall geyser.

Walt Disney World has announced the opening of both its water parks in May, which will mark the first time all six Disney theme parks will be open at the same time since 2019.
