President Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen 10 points, to the lowest level of his second term, in the latest Gallup poll released Thursday, slightly above his first-term low, though his second-quarter average approval rating of 40% is below that of previous presidents.

The new Marquette Law School poll found Trump received a 45% approval rating for how he was handling his job as president while another 55% said they disapproved. His approval rating ticked down one percentage point since the poll was last conducted in May, where he had a 46% approval rating and 54% disapproval rating.
