Fenwick four-star defensive lineman Nate Marshall was one of Sherrone Moore’s first big commitments in the class. Marshall pledged to the Wolverines in the spring, and his commitment was evidence that Moore and company were going to be able to swing for the fences.

The results from last Saturday revealed how much the gap has widened between Michigan football and Michigan State over the past five weeks.

For Michigan, finishing 7-5 doesn't sting nearly as much now that the Wolverines have added to Ohio State's rivalry misery.
