Ubisoft is making some major changes to Assassin's Creed Shadows as it cancels the game's early access period and the lengthy season pass.

Assassin's Creed Shadows just can't catch a break. The latest speed bump in the game's road to release is Ubisoft pulling its plans for a Season Pass, along with canceling Early Access for anyone who pre-ordered the game.

Ubisoft has officially removed the three-day early access for Assassin's Creed: Shadows for all versions of the game.

Ubisoft confirms that the Collector's Edition of Assassin's Creed Shadows will have a significantly lower price once its pre-orders return.

In a post on Discord (via IGN ), Ubisoft confirmed that several factors, including the Assassin's Creed Shadows delay, the cancellation of its planned Season Pass component, and the removal of the three days of early access planned as part of its original November 15 release date, caused the $280 price tag to drop to $230.

Ubisoft has adjusted the price of the Assassin's Creed Shadows Collector's Edition following the Season Pass cancellation.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows early access is definitively scrapped according to a post on Ubisoft’s Discord, as the season pass is also binned.
