Brentford have won their appeal against the red card shown to Christian Nørgaard after the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) review in Saturday's 0-0 draw at Everton.

Brentford captain Christian Norgaard has avoided a three-match ban as the Bees successfully appealed against his red card in a 0-0 draw with Everton on 23 November. The Denmark international was sent off in the 41st minute at Goodison Park following a challenge on Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford while attempting to score in the six-yard box.

The red card shown to Brentford captain Christian Norgaard during Saturday's 0-0 draw with Everton has been overturned, with the midfielder therefore avoiding a three-game suspension.
