According to the Food and Drug Administration, the cucumbers were grown in Sonora, Mexico and sold to the three companies between October 12 and November 26. The recall now covers 35 states. Sixty-eight people have reported being sick from salmonella but no deaths have been reported.

Cucumbers sold in Colorado may be contaminated with salmonella
A voluntary recall was issued on store-made deli and produce items at Safeway stores in Colorado. Safeway’s Denver division said those items contain cucumbers which may be contaminated with salmonella. This follows a recall issued by Baloian Farms, a cucumber grower. The affected products carry sell-by dates from December 1-7.
More cucumbers sold in Wisconsin recalled
Sunfed Produce, Baloian Farms and Russ Davis sold and shipped cucumbers to stores in several states, including Wisconsin. Other brands include Pam Pak and Crazy Fresh. Various stores and food services sold the cucumbers between October 12 and November 26.
