Former Illinois defensive back Kerby Joseph was named All-Pro First Team by the Associated Press on Friday. Joseph becomes the first Illinois alumnus to make first team all-pro since 2005. He led the NFL with nine interceptions in the regular season.

Detroit Lions tackle Penei Sewell had another phenomenal season in 2024. The former Oregon Ducks showed he is worth every dime of his four-year $112 million contract extension he signed last April as he made his second straight NFL All-Pro team.

Six Detroit Lions have been named to the All-Pro teams by the Associated Press, including Kerby Joseph, who was notably snubbed from the Pro Bowl.
