A police officer could begin the weekend behind bars after he was found guilty of the manslaughter of a 95-year-old with a Taser inside a nursing home.

Senior Constable Kristian White tasered 95-year-old Clare Nowland, but the decision to find him guilty of manslaughter was whether or not his actions were reasonably necessary.
