MALIBU, Calif. - The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department arrested a suspect accused of firing gunshots out of a Malibu home Friday afternoon.

A Malibu man fired toward sheriff's deputies, "narrowly missing one deputy," according to the Sheriff's Department. He was taken into custody Friday afternoon.

Deputies responded to the neighborhood in the 22000 block of Carbon Mesa Road at roughly 1:50 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire.
