After the successful launch of Silent Hill 2, Bloober Team is moving onto its own material, and it looks like the first stop is Cronos: The New Dawn, which is set to release sometime in 2025. This'll be a mature-rated sci-fi survival horror game that'll see players explore a post-apocalyptic land in 1980s Poland.

When PC Gamer reported on the cancellation of Project C’s partnership with Private Division, it said that Bloober Team was “prepared for potential alternatives”, and that work on Project C was continuing. That “potential alternative”, it seems, is Bloober Team self-publishing Cronos: The New Dawn.

The New Dawn, a sci-fi survival horror game. The game promises a twisted time travel story set in an unforgiving post-apocalyptic future in 1980s Poland. Players will take on the role of a Traveler, an agent of the enigmatic Collective with a mission to extract selected people who didn’t survive the apocalypse from the past.
