Pro-Palestine protesters have threatened to disrupt one of the largest Christmas events in London over its ties to Barclays. Campaigners have called for the boycott of Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball, which is set to be held next weekend at the O2 arena.

The Metropolitan Police has issued another warning about showing support for proscribed terror groups Hamas and Hezbollah.

The Palestine Solidarity Campaign said the event was the 22nd march since the Israel-Gaza conflict began in October 2023.

Protesters and counter-protesters hurled abuse at each other - and there was a brief struggle with police when a small group holding a banner ran into the road.
