Shedeur Sanders is no longer with the Colorado Buffaloes. Two QBs are in line to replace him. One is a transfer with nearly 30 starts, the other a true freshman who might actually have a leg up.

Panthers head coach Dave Canales previously said Bryce Young will start at quarterback against the Browns, a change from last year. The 2023 No. 1 overall draft pick did not play in the first two preseason games last year and only saw action in one series in the preseason finale.

Shedeur Sanders will start in his first NFL game on Friday. The former Colorado standout, and son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, will start under center for the Cleveland Browns in the team’s first preseason game of the year against the Carolina Panthers.
