The Philadelphia 76ers came out flat early against the Los Angeles Clippers and it cost them. The Clippers raced out to a 19-point lead in the first quarter shooting 5-for-8 from deep and 60% from the floor overall while Philadelphia couldn't match their energy.

The 76ers have major defensive concerns. The Well Fargo Center fans kept up the tradition of booing a former Sixer who failed to deliver and left on bad terms. And it appears that some of Sixers fans are growing tired of Nick Nurse’s coaching.

The 76ers fell to 3-13, an improbable record for a team that opened the season as a strong betting favorite to win the Eastern Conference. The Sixers played again without injured All-Stars Joel Embiid and Paul George, both out with knee injuries.
