International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach pays a visit to the dorms at the University of Utah that are earmarked to serve as the Athletes Village for Utah's 2034 Winter Olympics .

International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach will visit Salt Lake City Sept. 27-28 to meet with Salt Lake City-Utah 2034 bid leaders and elected officials. During his two-day visit, he will also gather with Games supporters and meet with athletes at various venue stops.

The International Olympic Committee president is hoping to ease worries that Salt Lake City could lose the 2034 Winter Olympics if organizers don’t fulfill an agreement to play peacemaker between anti-doping authorities.
