A huge fire on Wednesday at Belgium's Tomorrowland music festival site has “severely damaged” the main stage two days before the event was due to start, organizers said.

Video showed thick plumes of black smoke rising from the famed festival grounds in Boom, Belgium on Wednesday. Fireworks could also be seen and heard going off in the distance.

On Wednesday, the main stage at the Tomorrowland Music Festival caught fire in a tough scene. Tomorrowland, a popular electronic music festival in Belgium, was set to begin on Friday with the DreamVille campsite opening on Thursday for festivalgoers to get settled.
