A man who was shot to death on Saturday in Grand Rapids' southeast side has been identified, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.

Police have released the name of the man who was shot and killed on Grand Rapids' southeast side over the Labor Day holiday weekend.

A duo of deadly shootings within a month's time of each other is "out of character" for the Baxter neighborhood, says Grand Rapids Police Chief Eric Winstrom.
