New faces at Tom Ford, Dries Van Noten make debuts in Paris Tom Ford and Dries Van Noten revealed the first collections from their new chief designers at Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday, with the two labels among many in the luxury clothing industry that are in transition.
The first was Julian Klausner’s excellent collection for Dries Van Noten, and the other was from Haider Ackermann at Tom Ford. Haider Ackermann is a designer’s designer. Karl Lagerfeld once said that he’d ultimately choose Ackermann to replace him at Chanel.
