A three-time Pro Bowler, Jamal Adams calls signing with the red-hot Lions a "no-brainer" as he looks to contribute to their historic season.

Veteran defensive back Jamal Adams was encouraged by his family to quickly get in contact with Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn. After being released by the Tennessee Titans in October, the 29-year-old was hoping for another opportunity to join a team that had an opportunity to have playoff success.

Adams will look for a fresh start at a time when the Lions defense seems to add a new name to its injury list each week. He spoke about coming to Detroit with reporters on Monday, noting he's been staying fresh and ready while being home in Dallas. "When [Aaron Glenn] called, it was a no brainer for me," Adams said.
