Fire officials sent notice Friday that burn ban is back in Douglas County. According to an update sent shortly after 6 a.m.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Potential Outlook for rapid rises from rain and snow melting on rivers and streams in Douglas, Josephine, Jackson, Coos and Curry counties.
The warning runs from 1 to 8 p.m. and, in Nebraska, includes Cass, Jefferson, Johnson, Lancaster, Otoe, Nemaha, Pawnee, Richardson and Saline counties.
