The Vermont Senate has confirmed two new justices to the state Supreme Court, including former federal prosecutor Michael Drescher and Christina Nolan.
The U.S. Senate confirmed Nicholas Ganjei, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Texas, to a lifetime federal judgeship in Houston.

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) - Michael Drescher was confirmed to Vermont’s Supreme Court on Tuesday after Lt. Gov. John Rodgers cast the deciding vote following a 15-15 split in the state Senate.
